My difference

Coaching from someone who has actually run the race.

No two clients and no two businesses are the same. Everything starts with your vision, then we build the strategies to reach it, and I keep you accountable to them. Coaching, mentoring and consulting, combined.

Step 1

Establish the vision

A motivating, inspirational picture of what your business is striving to become. This is the cornerstone every other decision hangs off.

Step 2

Build the strategy

Unique, specific growth strategies for your business: planning, finance, marketing, sales, team and systems. Nothing off the shelf.

Step 3

Stay accountable

Regular one-on-one sessions that keep the plan moving and keep you in control, so the required strategies actually get implemented.

Areas of focus

Tailored coaching across every part of your business.

Whether it is setting goals, improving sales, developing the winning team or much more, we focus where your business needs it most.

Business planning

More than a formal written proposal: considered metrics and goals that give the year a shape, and give every week a priority.

FAQs

Questions owners ask before we start.

What happens in the free first session?

One hour, one-on-one. We talk through where your business is now, where you want it to be, and the opportunities for growth. You leave with value either way; there is no obligation to continue.

Who is an ideal client for coaching?

Owners of businesses turning over roughly $750,000 to $5 million, two to three years in, with at least three to five employees, and no clearly defined vision. The ones who get the most from it have an open mind and a real desire to get the business to the next level.

How often do we meet, and where?

Weekly or fortnightly, in sessions of 60 to 90 minutes. From my rooms at Tank Stream Suites, Level 31, 52 Martin Place in the Sydney CBD, at your premises, or online. Coaching at your premises tends to work best: I get a far better understanding of the business and the team.

How long is the commitment?

I treat coaching as a business journey. Some clients travel with me for a year, others for three or more. It depends entirely on the owner and the vision. We review progress regularly and decide the next step together.

How fast can I expect results?

Some things move quickly: a budget and forecast, or a proper look at your margins, can change how you run the business within weeks. But the coaching is really aimed at the overall vision, and that is a longer arc.

Is the coaching a set program?

No. No two clients or businesses are the same, so every client receives a personalised experience built around what works best for their business, combining coaching, mentoring and consulting.

How is this different from other business coaches?

I have set up, grown and sold my own company. I coach from real-world experience of sitting in the owner's chair, backed by over 20 years of coaching SMEs one-on-one. I can also put you in touch with clients I am working with now, so you can ask them directly.

What does it cost?

After the free first session we design a plan together: duration, frequency, and whether team members are involved. The cost follows the plan, so you see it before you commit to anything.
